Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, Felix studied optical engineering concentrating on visual performance of the human eye at the Institute of Optics and the Flaum Eye Institute at the University of Rochester, where he earned his bachelor’s degree.

Don is a successful entrepreneur, who advises a number of technology companies on the commercialization of innovative technologies. He is an OSA Fellow, receiving his B.S. in Optics from the University of Rochester and M.S. in Electro-Optics from Tufts University.

Geunyoung is a full Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester. Raised in Seoul, South Korea, he has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers in internationally recognized scientific journals and given over 300 invited and contributed presentations. He has over 20 patents, either awarded or currently pending.

Nick Brown is an alumnus of the famous Institute of Optics. Nick quickly developed a wide range of experiences working for a variety of laboratories at the University of Rochester, it’s associated medical center, and at MIT.

Chris is an accomplished R&D Leader with proven results over more than 40 years experience implementing and executing strategy, developing organizations, implementing development and support processes, manufacturing start up and delivering products to the market.

Richard is a recent graduate of the Golisano College of Computing masters program at RIT.  He has also worked as a web application developer, and designed advanced laboratory experiments for the University of Rochester department of Physics, Optics and Astronomy in LabVIEW.

Raised in Pittsford, New York, Jason graduated from the University of Rochester in 2020 and has been working in the optics industry for 3 years doing image processing and manufacturing software engineering.

Andres completed his PhD in Optics from the University of Rochester. He has authored 4 peer-reviewed publications and did his PhD in an adaptive optics retinal imaging laboratory by improving the contrast of translucent retinal neurons and vascular cells.

James is a long-term veteran of the contact lens industry, having spent over two decades in marketing, strategy, and business development executive with Bausch & Lomb, including long stints in Japan and China.

Eunkyu Lee is the Associate Dean for Global Initiatives and Professor of Marketing at The Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University. He specializes in quantitative research of strategic marketing problems and published his work in leading marketing journals.

Dorrance Lamb has more than 35 years of executive financial management experience with public companies, most recently as chief financial officer of Performance Technologies, Inc. He is a member of the Rochester Angel Network. He has been working with numerous private companies in capacities including as a board member, board observer, advisor, consultant and mentor since 1997.
